The Waltzing Matilda Centre (the Centre) located in Winton Township is an iconic Queensland tourist attraction, and a vital part of the tourism infrastructure of the Winton region. The Centre was destroyed by fire on 18th June 2015 and rebuilt in 2018 winning a number of awards for its design and authenticity.
